Erika Alghafari
Erika’s love of photography began while traveling through Southeast
Asia and Europe, documenting her experiences and observations with the
camera. Moving into the world of fine art, she began to experiment with
still life and night photography, trying to find a deeper meaning in
the everyday subjects. Inspired by the intimacy in Richard Avedon and
Andre Kertesz’ portraits, she dedicated herself to the photographic
medium.
Erika’s wedding photography is a fusion of high fashion and intimate
portraiture. With her natural sense of storytelling her images are both
compelling and vibrant. Erika’s enchanting wedding images transcend
into the realm of fine art.
Maya
Myers
Maya's
passion for photography covers a broad range of subjects from beautiful
weddings
and movie production stills,
to teaching documentary photography to underserved youth in Los Angeles.
Prior to her move to Venice, California where she now resides, Maya
lived in New York City, photographing weddings and working as
a photographer
for Pascal Dangin, at Box Ltd. There she gained exposure to the fashion
and advertising world. Museums and street photography lead her to her
love of the social documentary medium. These two worlds continue to
inform and define her images today. Maya’s
wedding images have edge and immense humor. But still they are intimate
and romantic. She will make you laugh and capture your tears of joy.
Maya holds a BFA with a concentration in photography from Alfred
University, with continued studies at the International Center
of Photography,
New York, NY. Her educational photography work with the Step Up
Women's Network
